About
The hardest part of therapy is the 1st step, and if you’re reading this you’ve already started. I like to think of myself as a helper… a healer. To assist and guide those in need of navigating life’s challenges, and changes. The role of a therapist is to take what feels “impossible” and help you break it down into accomplishable tasks. Together we can help you build strengths.
I started my counseling journey with a BS from Texas State University (2010) and then gravitated towards a MS in Counseling from the University of Houston-Clear Lake (2013). I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2014.
Working together with clients, I deliver an eclectic application of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and SolutionFocused approaches with a person-centered focus in the here and now to areas of support: Career, Creativity, Spirituality, Family, and Exercise. Previously, I’ve worked with adults, adolescents, and youth in community health and college settings for life’s stressors, ODD, ADHD, Adjustment Disorder, and Mood Disorders: Depression and Anxiety. Let’s work together to help establish tools and habits for a better tomorrow.
