About

Hi there! My name is Brittany Gomola and I am currently a Licensed Professional Counselor. As each person embarks on a new journey of healing and positive change, it can be difficult to know who to see so I would like to share with you a little bit about me.

I have spent my career as a substance abuse counselor, private practice therapist, ABA specialist for autism, and more recently a special education teacher for one of the local schools. I have a passion working with individuals, families, and children who are struggling with mental health obstacles, developmental problems, and critical moments that affect their life. These can manifest as anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, relationship difficulties, autism, and one's ability to cope with triggers or sensory responses. My approach to therapy is somewhat eclectic. I pull from a bio-pyscho-social model, Cognitive-Behavioral therapy, ABA and attachment-focused models to assist with child, adult, and family therapy. I have chosen to view therapy in this way to ensure that each person’s specific needs and situations get the best care and support.

If you are interested in therapy, or want to know more, please contact the office or myself. I look forward to helping you in any capacity that is correct in your journey!
